Keep the date FREE Te Puke... we’re coming to you! Our fourth cybersecurity awareness seminar will be presented at the Settlers Lounge in Te Puke on Thursday 20 March at 10am - 12 noon!

In collaboration with Tū Mai Digital, and with the support of local IT business VisionLab, the ANZ and Westpac banks and private contractors, we’re bringing you a morning of straight-forward, easy-to-follow presentations on cybersecurity awareness, banking, investment and romance scams, credential harvesting, passwords and fraud.

Come along to this FREE event and join us afterward for light refreshments when you can meet the experts on keeping yourself safe in our ever-changing digital world!

As a dedicated Bank Manager at ANZ with 8 years of experience, Mark specialises in safeguarding their clients' financial well-being. Today, he'll be sharing crucial insights on identifying and preventing fraud and scams, to protect your assets.

Ken Robison . Bank Manager - Westpac Te Puke
Ken Robison has been in banking for 27 years - and with the Westpac bank for 15 years. Ken has been a Bank Manager throughout that time - firstly at Mount Maunganui, then Papamoa and currently at the Te Puke branch.

Dan Hesson . Chief Firefighter & Problem Solver - Ōmokoroa IT
With 25 years in the IT industry, Dan Hesson has worked around Europe for the likes of Microsoft, Yahoo as well as Xtra and Trade me here in New Zealand, now settling in the Western Bay of Plenty where he heads up Omokoroa IT. He likes to keep things in IT as simple as possible and prefers to be on the coalface dealing directly with Customers alongside his team. Dan will share his first-hand stories and approach to tackling all the problems his Customers face, taking the pain out of IT.

Stephan has worked as a network and information security specialist for 20 years - including the NZ Police and NZ Defence Force - and for the last decade here in the Bay of Plenty as a consultant.

Richard Gilligan . Kaiārahi Tikanga Kauhanga

Richard has 38 year's experience in the Information Technology and Communications Industry - Central Government, Reserve Bank, the Private Sector and now with Local Government in the Western Bay of Plenty.
